Blackhawk Helicopter

In September I was asked by the department head if I would like to ride in a Blackhawk Helicopter. Now how could anyone ever turn down an opportunity like that? I had an amazing experience and here are some of the pictures that I got to take......

The wind from the Blackhawk was so strong. When the helicopter landed or took off you had better hold onto your hat, shirt, whatever because it was going to get blown off. I actually had to lean into the wind from the helicopter so I wouldn't get blown over.

This is a friend of Brittany's and mine. His name is Dan, he is actually a sociology major and he was the other person chosen from my department to go on a ride.

Taking off.....

This is leaving the Hyper Field!!

This is the Hyper Building

Quad behind Old Main

Just the university

They took us for a ride up Logan Canyon, across the mountains and then we came out over Sky View . Then we flew back over Hyde Park and North Logan.

Somthing to mark off of my bucket list!!!

That is so cool that you were able to do that. If the wind is that strong I guess that is why people are always hunched over and leaning in when they are running to them. Not because they don't want their head chopped off. :-)
